Awe!

What a wonderful weekend I had. This weekend was the best for me, a weekend full of Gray and Grayson. It was relaxing, refreshing, and just all together wonderful.

Saturday did not go as planned and that is okay. We got to sleep in (all 3 of us) which started the day out fabulous, though it put Grayson’s schedule off a little. We did not get to go hiking as hoped instead we just laid around the house that morning then off for a little swim. The water ended up being way to cold even though the high temperature for the day was in the 90's. Instead we did a little shopping for our big trip we have planned in less then 2 weeks.

We are going to Washington to see two good friends. Since it is much colder up there we needed to get clothing items for Grayson to prepare him for the temperature change. One of the items we needed was a beanie, to keep his little head and ears warm. We looked every where for it (knowing exactly the store that would have it but not wanting to pay there price). So off we go, Target, Wal-Mart, Babies R Us, Children’s Place (they have the best baby boy clothes), and then after the search with no luck into Baby Gap we go. Right there in front several beanies to choose from, at least they were on sale so we didn’t have to pay full price. He is going to look stinking cute wearing it though.

I love Sundays because that is church day. Ryan our Pastor at The Church at Stone Oak does such a great job at delivering the messages that God gives to him. After church I surprised Gray and we went on a date. When we go on dates now we have a rule that we are not aloud to talk about Grayson from the time we drop him off till the time we pick him up and let me tell you it can be a challenge sometimes. We dropped Grayson off at my Aunt Margaret’s and then went to see Eagle Eye. Katie, Grays sister gave us a gift card for the movies back and March and we just now got to use it, thanks Katie! The movie was GREAT, I highly recommend it. After the movie we went to pick up Grayson and my aunt told us “no” and to go back out and do something else, we didn’t mind. We went to get a few more items for our trip and then grabbed a bite to eat at Subway. We had the best day just the two of us. It was one of those days were you get to just be in awe of each other and fall a little bit deeper in love. I love you Gray!

Sorry…Baby crying, got to go. God bless.
